On behalf of the 12th International Conference on Grief and Bereavement in Contemporary Society conference organising committee and Scientific Committee, we warmly invite you to the 12th International Conference on Grief and Bereavement in Contemporary Society to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Australia from 13 – 17 July, 2020.

Every three years, the International Conference on Grief and Bereavement in Contemporary Society acts to foster international and multidisciplinary collaboration in research and clinical and community practice, across cultural and geographical boundaries on promoting a good death and bereavement for a better world.

This conference will bring together over 600 delegates from around the world to learn from leading researchers and practitioners by engaging in interactive workshops, world-class keynote lectures, exciting symposia and networking with key representatives from all areas of grief and bereavement care.

This event will bring together industry leaders, peak bodies and Australian and International organisations including counsellors, social workers, psychologists, palliative care, pastoral care and chaplaincy, funeral, celebrants and cemetery leaders, to enhance their professional development. This conference provides the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals within the field.
